Did you know that British songbird Emeli Sande’s first name is Adele?

Sande’s full name is Adele Emeli Sande. However, when she launched her recording career in 2009 she decided to issue music with the name Emeli Sande because her fellow UK singer Adele had already made such a massive impact on the charts.

Before she released her debut album, ‘Our Version of Events’, on February 13th 2012, Sande operated as a songwriter for Cheryl Cole, Tinie Tempah and others. She also appeared as a featured act on tracks by Chipmunk and Wiley.
