Turner has starred in several films such as ‘Tommy’ and ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’. Her most recent production was in 1993 in the film ‘Last Action Hero’.

However, Turner’s most popular film was ‘Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome’ where she starred alongside Mel Gibson. In fact, Turner even won the NAACP Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for her role as Aunty Entity in the movie.
