Azealia Banks performs at the 2012 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Azealia Banks’ ’1991′ EP will be released on April 17th and she found the perfect way to build hype for the record. The feisty rapper hit the stage at day two of the 2012 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival yesterday and caught the audience’s attention with a wave of expletives.
Reminiscent of Lil Kim, Banks switched across the stage as she repeated the F-bombs in almost every tune. Watch Banks’ Coachella Festival set, which included a rendition of ‘Fuck Up the Fun’, below:

i thought the only good song was when she did her 212 hit. But other than that she is notba good performer, walking up and down the stage, her neck seem really stiff, her moves are so … uncomfortable and i m tempted to blame it all on the HORRIBLE outfit she was wearing… she felt like a clown and it showed. I do want to see her do better + i want to hear her on less technowy beats… its like one looong song… imagine if missy elliot had done only party songs like 4mypeople #boriiing!
Im trying hard to like her…. but its just not working… her image needs work and her approach is there but it also needs work as well. Hopefully when her EP is released we can hear some refined work from her. Azalea is the better Azealia…..

Lets all get this straight Azealia Banks is a lucky girl who happened to rap and curse really fast on a techno beat.. a white kids liked it and boom now she is giving horrible performances in all the hottest places and cool magazine rather review her attitude or her cursing or whoever was dancing on stage rather than the actual “wackeddy wack” content of her raps or stage presence. She also has the disadvantage of her total lack of style… this girl is obviously paying a good 80% of her checks aways to her handlers.
Iggy Azelea is white and whatever a white person can do like a black person is their claim to fame. Annoying voice just like banks, good looks tho… and as for the music… just like banks..its airhead music… but both these girls are there to hype up products that more talented but personality free aging and corny singers like beyonce can no longer hype… meanwhile missy elliot is doing good basking in her past but still unequalled creative glory… all of this is shitbrain. thank you…#ingoodspirit
