Christina Aguilera Screams ‘Fighter’ Performance On ‘The Voice’

Christina Aguilera performs 'Fighter' on 'The Voice'.

Just when you thought Christina Aguilera was finally seeking help from a vocal coach to fix her bad habits, she returned to her usual grunting and over-singing. Indeed, earlier this evening, the warbler hit the stage alongside the contestants of Team Xtina on ‘The Voice’ and proved that she will always be a hopeless screamer.

As usual, Aguilera grunted, screeched and wailed through a performance of her hit song ‘Fighter’. Unfortunately for her, though, she was unable to hit many of her high notes and the members of Team Xtina basically outperformed her at every turn.

So there I was watching my shows when I heard a strange scream of pain in the distance. I leaped from the bed to investigate the source of the tragic noise and discovered that it was just Aguilera doing her usual nonsense. As you were people; there is nothing to see here. Just another singer ruining her vocal cords.

  While they sounded better overall, none of her team sounded good with the music. None of their voices was suited for the song. And that choir did nothing for the performance.
  
  Christina needs to rid herself of her ego and listen to the advice of a vocal coach. Her voice is one of a kind and she needs to take care of it.

  Actually she didn’t really scream. This song calls for the vocal to be aggressive. Every song doesn’t have to be perfectly sung. It’s about bringing character to it here and there. It’s becoming tired now Trent. She didn’t ound too bad here. She had a few nice moments.

  They were all screaming tbh. One girl really could not sing AT ALL. Xtina has an outstanding voice but the grunting is her issue. After all these years, she’s still doing it. It has become her signature if you think about it.

  No1 – I wasn’t impressed by this performance but it wasn’t “awful”, yeah she over did it as she can sometimes have a tendency to do but it seems to me that she’s SLAYS the stand still and SING songs and then always goes OTT with the move around the stage ones.
  
  No2 – She has been listening to her vocal coach, she slayed “Have yourself a merry little christmas” etc.
  
  No3 – That outfit isn’t flattering but you can tell she’s losing weight and she is generally looking great, I think she hired a new stylist that (usually) gets her flattering clothes too. And the more natural make-up she’s been rocking lately looks GREAT too

  I recently purchased Xtina’s debut album (yeah I’m late as hell). Listening to it and then hearing her now makes me so disappointed. Xtina has the best tone in her generation but the yelling and over singing is destroying her vocals.

  Have any of you guys heard “Fighter”? The song is supposed to be sung loud and aggressively. She doesn’t sound any different than when she performed it on her Stripped tour in 2002-2003. Trent, you are reaching with your accusations. I’m not saying Christina doesn’t ever over-sing, but that’s been her MO since the beginning. By now, why would you expect anything less? She’s also AWARE that she over-sings and she does it because she likes to. And she looked great. Don’t make it so obvious that you hate her. It’s not a good look.
