Emeli Sande makes her US debut on 'Conan'.

People in the US better brace themselves because there is another Adele ready to conquer the charts! Emeli Sande, who shares a first name with the creator of the blockbuster ’21′ album, made her US debut on ‘Conan’ last evening and introduced herself to a new market of fans.

Sande will release her ‘Our Version of Events’ debut album on June 5th in the US. The record has thus far been certified in the UK, thanks partly to the success of the top 5 single, ‘Next to Me’, which peaked at #2 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Watch her perform the song on ‘Conan’ below:

With Sande’s effortless vocals, interesting looks and solid material, she definitely left an impression with this performance. It is incredibly exciting to see her in the US, especially because Leona Lewis’ return has been perpetually delayed. Could the Billboard charts handle another British import? Clearly, people won’t have a choice!
