R&B/Soul Williams has won four Grammy Awards throughout her career. Interestingly, all of her honors were garnered in the Gospel categories – Best Female Soul Gospel Performance (for ‘I Surrender All’ in 1987), Best Duo or Group Gospel Performance (for ‘They Say’ in 1987), Best Female Gospel Performance (for ‘I Believe in You’ in 1988) and Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album (for ‘This is My Song’ in 1999).

Williams is best known for her two Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles ‘Too Much, Too Little, Too Late (with Johnny Mathis)’ and ‘Let’s Hear It for the Boy’. Watch the video for the latter below:
