Did you know that despite scoring multiple top-selling singles, Flo Rida has yet to nab a gold-certified album in the US?
Several of Flo Rida’s singles have been certified multi-platinum in the US, including ‘Low (Ft. T-Pain)’ (6x platinum), ‘In the Air (Ft. will.i.am)’ (2x platinum), ‘Right Round’ (5x platinum) and ‘Good Feeling’ (3x platinum). However, none of his albums have reached gold status in the US and his best-selling LP remains his debut offering, ‘Mail on Sunday’, which sold less than 350K copies.
Flo Rida also scored a pair of #1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 yet his highest-charting album on the Billboard 200 is ‘Mail on Sunday’, which peaked at #4 in 2008. Ironically, ‘Low’ was the 23rd most successful song on the Hot 100 during the 1958-2008 period and was ranked higher than any other Hip-Hop single.
