Usher grossly disappointed his R&B fans with her recently released Top 40/Mainstream single, ‘Scream’. However, with the assistance of Rick Ross, the singer has struck back with his new Urban track, ‘Let Me See’, which debuted this morning.
‘Let Me See’ and ‘Scream’ serve as the official followups to Usher’s hit tune ‘Climax’. All three tracks will appear on his upcoming ‘Looking for Myself’ album, which will hit stores on June 12th. Listen to ‘Let Me See’ below:
‘Let Me See’ is the typical Urban radio song on which people expect to hear Ross’ grunting but it is still a solid record that should be quite successful. In fact, if Usher didn’t already release the Dance-themed ‘Scream’ then I would have bid for ‘Let Me See’ to be the only followup to ‘Climax’ ahead of the release of ‘Looking for Myself’.
It is blatantly obvious that Usher is following the exact double single formula he used to promote ‘Raymond vs Raymond’. However, for his sake, I hope people appreciate his versatility and don’t get confused by this approach.
