Jessie J is back with a flurry of high notes in the video for her new single, ‘Laser Light’. The track, which features David Guetta, is the latest release from the songbird’s ‘Who You Are’ album in the UK.

‘Laser Light’ will be serviced to digital retailers in the UK on May 14th. Thus far, ‘Who You Are’ has generated 4 top 10 songs on the Official UK Singles Chart, of which 2 tracks – ‘Price Tag (Ft. B.o.B.)’ and ‘Domino’ - ascended to the chart summit.

‘Laser Light’ isn’t the most innovative video – club scenes and glamour shots hardly count as groundbreaking – but it should do the job of giving the track a basic boost. Besides, the song itself has all the makings of a UK #1 single so its accompanying video doesn’t need to be shocking.

Yet, it is clearly time for Jessie J to progress to a new era of her career. ‘Laser Light’ is the 7th single from ‘Who You Are’ and after promoting the album for over 16 months, the music has lost its luster.
