At the end of the day, JLo has worked her beautiful butt off to get where she is. Self promote? With a net worth of $250million she doesn’t have to do anything ever again. She knows she’s not the best singer, often saying ‘I wish I could sing like that’ and she hardly gives harsh criticism.

She looked great and danced her ass off but I still don’t know… If she leaves Idol she’s heading back to flopdom no matter how much she has in the bank.

She may be a smart business woman and be rich, but lets not forget she slept with (Pdiddy or Puffy at that time) to help her produce her music. And I’m not sure how Tommy Motola (the man that discovered Mariah Carrey) was willing to help JLO in her singning carrer except for the fact she is beautiful and that’s easy to sell. May be her and Marc Anthony couldn’t get along because he had to hear her sing. Let’s also not forget she has no talent in the acting department as well. She was lucky to get Selena, that was the best thing that could have happened to her. Especially because there weren’t many Latina actresses at that time. She also doesn’t dance as hard as she used to. You would think her dancer boyfriend would teach her some new moves cause she sure as hell can’t bee bop. But I guess she doesn’t even have to try anymore because she has so many endorsement deals and has all the money she needs. Shaking you ass is easy, I’ve seen strippers who can do what she does and do it better. And yes she is a hypocrite for judging a singning competition when she can’t sing herself and of all places on idol. I would never go to her concert its all lipsyncking I’m sure. She is way overexposed and over saturated. But again she is a very smart business woman I will give her credit for that.

Could you be any more of a hypocrite and any more LAME than to judge a bunch of really talented singers on their LIVE singing in a singing competition and then get up on stage yourself and lipsync to a pre-recorded track? (Most likely an “auto-tuned” track to make it even more lame). The only reason Jennifer Lopez is respected is because she is a big name act with alot of money and hit records. She is not respected for her singing abilities and probably would have gotten nowhere in the entertainment business if she didn’t get that one lucky break when she got the role of Selena (in which she also lipsynced). I do acknowledge that I enjoy many of her songs and they always go over well when I am deejaying at events, but with today’s technology anyone can sound great in the studio.
