After dropping the ball with ‘It’s On’, R. Kelly has released another new song called ‘Feelin’ Single’. Channeling his late idol and friend Michael Jackson, the King of R&B has crafted a modern R&b hit for his upcoming ‘Write Me Back’ album.

Don’t worry about R. Kelly’s sound being too polarised for his new projects, though. ‘It’s On’ will reportedly appear on his ‘Black Panties’ LP, which will is an entirely separate album from ‘Write Me Back’.

Well, it’s clear that R. Kelly’s ‘Write Me Back’ will be the album for real R&B fans to purchase whereas ‘Black Panties’ will be left for the younger fans of basic club hits. ‘Feelin’ Single’ is a great record with solid production and tight melodies. ‘It’s On’, on the other hand, is garbage.
