Jill Scott’s edition of ‘Vh1 Storytellers’ aired last evening and the show was a spectacle of comedy, drama, poetry and outright greatness! Indeed, by performing several of her popular hits, including ‘Gettin’ in the Way’ and ‘Golden’, the R&B/Soul diva wowed the crowd with her versatility.

For each song, Scott introduced a different character to set her music into context. From her scandalous woman to the uptight professional, Scott displayed the full range of her enormous talent. Watch her full ‘Vh1 Storytellers’ special below:

Scott utterly amazed me with these performances! There was never any doubt of her talent but this ‘Vh1 Storytellers’ show floored me in every way. Belting in tongues and in a foreign language?!
