Chris Brown has released the full version of ‘Calypso’. Produced by Polow Da Don, the track serves as a special iTunes promotional single and won’t appear on Brown’s upcoming ‘Fortune’ album, which hits stores on July 3rd.

As someone who was born in the country where Calypso originated – Trinidad & Tobago – I was hoping to hear Brown experiment with the sounds of that music. Still, this ‘Calypso’ song is a solid effort and could have been a very strong single for his ‘Fortune’ album. The best of the song? Brown was singing and allowing his range to shine through!
