Do you hear that sound? That’s Chris Brown’s PR being flushed down the toilet along with his hopes of being respected by the mainstream media. Joining with rapper Game, the lost soul has put forward a new song, ‘I Don’t Like’, targeting Drake.
Brown dropped a freestyle over Chief Keef’s ‘I Don’t Like’ beat and referred to his recent bar brawl with Drake. Now, wisdom would dictate that since Brown is the complaining witness, he should let the legal system handle the situation. Yet, we know how his temper works so listen to him weaken his position on ‘I Don’t Like’ below:
Brown’s constantly complains that the media portrays him as an angry person but he gives them all the material they need to fuel any possible agenda. From his Twitter rants to physical outburst (‘Good Morning America’) and now ‘I Don’t Like’, Brown has effectively made himself look like a man with serious personal issues.
Still, let’s just focus on the music. To explain it in the simplest way possible, Brown’s ‘I Don’t Like’ freestyle is trash. If he’s planned to do a diss record then he should have at least did while singing. You know, something that he is actually good at doing.
Brown needs to focus on himself and his ‘Fortune’ album that will be released next week. Additionally, he should just go to the rehearsals for the 2012 BET Awards, practice singing live and hire a better publicist.
