Another day brings another Chris Brown song. The overactive singer has released ‘Get Down’, which features B.o.B, to iTunes as the latest promotional single for his ‘Fortune’ project and similar to its predecessors, the track will not appear on the album.
Previous iTunes-only singles from Brown include the songs ‘Oh Yeah (Ft. Snoop Dogg & 2 Chainz)’ and the Polow Da Don-produced ‘Calypso’. Yet, despite the impressive quality of the music, many people have been left utterly confused by these random releases.
Listen to Brown’s ‘Get Down’ below:
Brown is very talented and ‘Get Down’ exemplifies the fact that he is learning how to mix his singing style with his rapping to create a more unique sound. However, people won’t be able to appreciate his blossoming artistry because he is overwhelming them with too much material!
Indeed, every week we get at least three new songs and/or videos from Brown and all he has done is confuse casual music fans and oversaturate his market instead of giving people the time to appreciate each song. Everybody isn’t a member of Team Breezy and these random music releases have become so common that people no longer get excited for Brown’s work.
