A snippet Nelly Furtado’s ‘Something’ was released on April but now the full song has surfaced. Featuring Nas, the song was produced by Salaam Remi and will appear on Furtado’s upcoming new album, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’.

On September 18th, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’ will be released in the US. The album will also include the lead single, ‘Big Hoops (Bigger the Better)’, which has thus far failed to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. Listen to ‘Something’ below:

True to his usual form, Remi did a fantastic job producing this track. It would have been great to hear Furtado experiment with her range a bit more in the arrangement but Remi’ production carried the song. Of course, Nas stole the show with his verse but that is always expected.
