Nicki Minaj and Funkmaster Flex’s showdown on Hot 97 last evening sent her fans into an uproar so the former called into another radio show, ‘The Breakfast Club’, to provide clarity. However, as usual, the rapper detoured from the topic to fire subliminal shots at other female rappers.
While answering questions about her cancelled performance at the 2012 Hot 97 Summer Jam, Minaj denied claims that she intended to hit the stage with a lookalike of another female rapper (Lil Kim). In fact, she made it clear that she would never use her shows to give her “irrelevant” competition attention by bringing “death” to the stage.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Minaj was eager to perform with Foxy Brown, who has not scored a top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in over a decade, but not with other irrelevant people. Listen to her full ‘Breakfast Club’ interview below:
