Lol don’t u know that this is how ALL albums are certified platinum? By the units shipped? All a record label cares about is how much they sold/shipped. In Nicki’s case they sold 1 million. Its pretty hard to tell how much is actually sold in stores, but that does not matter because the record company sold 1 million of her records so they will get platinum status. That’s the way its done with ALL albums. So all those double platinum albums u see floating around, most of em didnt even sell it to actual customers, they shipped it to record stores. Its the way its always done. Trent always hating lol.

Yes it is shipping but their shouldn’t be a huge disparity between actual sales. Over shipping means you didn’t meet retail and label expectations and somebody wasted a ton of money.

This album should be gold- plain and simple.

@Nora it takes most artist a year or two to even go plat. Nicki Did it on em in 3. And for her “pop” sound, nicki minaj can be about any life she chooses. if she wants to rap, sing and do a couple pop records here and there, that’s her decision, no one elses. you may not like her pop hits, but alot of people do.

She’s getting ready to release the 4th single and she’s only at 545K, this album is not going platinum, it’s prolly gonna do like a good 850K in actual sales
