Usher performs at the 'Dance Central 3' launch.

Usher hit the stage at the ‘Dance Central 3′ launch during the Microsoft Xbox press conference in Los Angeles today. The singer delivered a mostly live rendition of his new single, ‘Scream’, from his ‘Looking 4 Myself’ album, which will be released on June 12th.

An album preview of ‘Looking 4 Myself’ was released yesterday. The record features productions by Danja, Diplo, Salaam Remi, Rico Love and The Neptunes. Watch Usher perform at the ‘Dance Central 3′ launch below:

Usher really delivered with this performance and the best aspect was the fact that he sang live. Too many performers use dancing as an excuse to lip-sync but he has proven that a balance can be struck with the right routine. Yet, most male “singers” out today can’t sing without auto-tune so maybe that’s why they hide behind choreography.
