JoJo has been caught in a perpetual cycle of album delays and public label feuds for years, hence the reason why she has yet to release her new album, formerly known as ‘Jumping Trains’. However, the underrated vocalist has renewed hope in her project, following the rave reviews she received for her latest single, ‘Demonstrate’.
JoJo revealed to MTV News that she has renamed her new album and despite only being just half way complete with the recording of the LP, she has likened its sound to TLC’s ‘CrazySexyCool’. Naturally, she hasn’t announced the official release date that album or any other concrete news.
Read what JoJo had to say to MTVNews below:
“I hope that people are feeling the direction. I like to think of it as ‘CrazySexyCool’ — that’s kind of where I want to go with this album. I want to make people feel good, I want my music to bring people joy and they can get lost in this world.
I’m headed in a new direction, so I wanted to start fresh with new everything. ‘Demonstrate’ just felt like how I want to continue on with this journey and the next step. For me, the third album is a really big moment in someone’s career, so I wanted to make sure that we are leading off with the right thing.
“[Working with Noah ’40′ Shebib] was my dream. I really wanted to get in with him; he’s the most exciting producer I’ve ever worked with. I’ve never seen a method like his, and it was very, very inspiring and it really kind of reinvigorated my creativity to be in there with him.”

Hopefully, we will get the chance to hear the work that JoJo has put into her new album before Pink’s daughter Willow starts high school. Many of her fans have grown frustrated with the incredibly long wait and it is only a matter of time before they lose interest.
