Okay, let’s try this one more time in the name of real talent. After months of waiting, Leona Lewis took to Ustream where finally treated her fans some news regarding her ‘Glassheart’ album and confirmed its release date for mid-October.
Lewis has scheduled the debut of her long delayed ‘Glassheart’ album for October 15th. The record will be preceded by the Trip-Hop-inspired ‘Trouble’ single, which was crafted by her vocal mirror, Emeli Sande, and producer Naughty Boy. That song will be issued to UK digital retailers on October 7th and its accompanying video will be issued during the coming weeks.
Although Lewis has not decided if the original version of her failed lead ‘Glassheart’ single, ‘Collide’, will make the final cut of the album, a special mix of the song will appear on the 14-track deluxe edition of the LP. Other songs confirmed to be on ‘Glassheart’ include ‘I2U’, ‘Come Alive’, ‘Fireflies’, ‘Shake It Up’ and ‘LoveBirds’.

Hopefully, Lewis will stick to this release date for ‘Glassheart’ instead of postponing the record into the next millenium. Despite the extensive list of setbacks concerning this project, there is still hype for her new music, particularly because her fellow ‘The X Factor (UK)’ alum, Alexandra Burke, failed so horribly with her ‘Career on Pause’ ‘Heartbreak on Hold’ album.
