By now, you may have realised the Miguel doesn’t follow the typical industry norms and that point will be further stressed later this year when he releases his new album on October 2nd. How the singer-songwriter continue to distinguish himself from his peers? He will issue the record as a trilogy.

Miguel will release his ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ album on October 2nd but not before he engages in a bit of foreplay with his fans. Indeed, on July 31st, he will issue the three-song ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: Water Preview’ to iTunes and then follow it with the ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview’ on September 11th.

Subsequently, Miguel will drop the full version of  ’Kaleidoscope Dream’ album on October 2nd with five additional tracks. Isn’t that such a clever idea? Read more details about the project below:

The second release, another three-song set and titled ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: Air Preview’, is set to hit iTunes on September 11th. The final full-length release, simply called ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’, will bring together the two digital EPs alongside five new songs and is due out in digital and physical form on October 2nd.

The album title holds a clue the album’s inspiration. “I believe dreams represent the purest form of fantasy we unleash through our subconscious,” Miguel says in a statement issued by the label. “They represent the truest freedom we can experience. Totally unrepressed and totally creative.” Producers on ‘Kaleidoscope Dream’ include Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Nas, Adele), Pop & Oak (Kanye West, Big Sean), Jerry Wonda (The Fugees, WyclefJean), and more.
