Nicki Minajs Performs ‘Pound The Alarm’ On ‘Jay Leno’

Nicki Minaj visits ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’.
Nicki Minaj’s fans are still eagerly anticipating her ‘Pound the Alarm’ video but while they wait for the release of the clip, the Pop start gave them a consolation prize. Just a few moments ago, Minaj hit the stage on ‘The Tonight Show with Jay Leno’ to perform the song.
Shot in her native Trinidad, the ‘Pound the Alarm’ video will premiere within the coming days. Minaj sported a special Carnival costume in the production and she had a similar design crafted for her appearance on ‘Jay Leno’ so that she could get the late night crowd extra excited.

Surprisingly, this performance of ‘Pound the Alarm’ was rather enjoyable and Minaj definitely did the song justice. Yes, it would have been better so see her happily performing a Hip-Hop song such as ‘Hov Lane’ or ‘Roman Reloaded’ but we should all be thankful she didn’t do another onstage exorcism at midnight on Friday 13th.

Glad I’m not the only one seeing it. It’s like nowadays every artists gets whiter and whiter and stay wearing these blonde wigs and blue contacts more and more I see them. I’m not even Black, but I can agree that this is making our young Black girls feel like they have to look more White to be or feel beautiful. We need more natural women in the industry and not all this weave and makeup wearing females that are getting thrown at young girls have all races.

I had to google past videos of Nicki before she got on with Young Money/Cash Money. Wow, does this woman have any original features left. Are there any Black women in this industry that actually likes being Black anymore? I agree the previous comment from @ Aaliyah. She just looks ridiculous now and she has gone overboard with all these “enhances” but I’m sure her stans will say I’m “hating”.
