Alicia Keys lit the web ablaze last week when she announced the title of her new album, ‘Girl on Fire’, and she kept the momentum high by revealing the cover of the record this morning. However, that wasn’t the only news shared by the singer. In fact, she also shared the release date of the set!

‘Girl on Fire’ will arrive in stores on November 27th. The set serves as the followup to Keys’ 2009 effort, ‘The Element of Freedom’, which has thus far been certified platinum by the RIAA with sales exceeding 1.5 million copies in the US.

Keys is set to debut the official lead single from ‘Girl on Fire’ live at the 2012 MTV Awards on September 6th, just two days after it hits radio on September 4th, but you can get a glimpse of her updated sound by watching her discuss the project below:
