Did you know that Bob Marley & The Wailers’ ‘Legend’ album took 28 years to reach the top 20 of the Billboard 200?
‘Legend’ originally peaked at #54 on the Billboard 200 in October 1984 but finally cracked the top 20 of the chart in the week of August 19th 2012. Astonishingly, the latter plateau was achieved in the album’s 236th week on the Billboard 200, thanks to to a 2009 rule change that allowed catalogue sets to rank alongside current releases.
