I don’t understand how Mimi lost her voice or most of it to the point where you forgot she had a 5 octave vocal range. She never tours/toured or sings live that much so HTF?

Regardless of Mariah Carey’s Triumphant flop & her major vocal declined, she’ll always be 1 of the best vocalists & selling artists ever!!!!! This performance Mariah just gave was decent by HER standards but still shits on any Rihanna, Katy live vocal performance but pull it together Mimi.

Is Mariah ever going to change it up? The gold, the prom dresses, the same hairstyle, etc? She’s bee doing the same thing for almost 15 years now. :/

Mariah has an incredible voice, but she’s worth 250 million so she does NOT have to work hard at this anymore, she’s made her mark. Mariah & Whitney are the legends, right now, mariah is just floating along having fun……She should have sang the PULSE mix and turned it out, but she didn’t. WTF!!! I was looking forward to this so much. Don’t understand why she didn’t perform ANY of the dance remixes. I have faith that you will get it together Mariah. All of the live performances this year have been on point & the vocal arrangments have been nice. This gives me faith for the record in 2013!!! Come and slay Mariah! I give you a pass on this one.

I watched the performance and didn’t find the vocals to be that bad. My main criticism would be about the song itself. It’s not a really good song, and the 2 or 3 dance mixes that have been released are all better than the original version that she performed here. Also, Mariah Carey almost seems to be a guest performer on her own single. I think the 2 rappers and all the overpowering background vocals are more prominent on the song than Mariah Carey’s vocals. Did she even sing any verses, because it just sounded like her singing a chorus over and over. As far as her voice sounding terrible, I’d have to disagree. I think the problem was with the song and the arrangement, but not with her voice. She is still one of the greatest voices in the music business.

Ok so let me break it down for yall hoes real quick… Mariah can’t sing no more she really lost her voice completely like that shit is gone and never returning, yes she USE to be one of the greatest singers but not anymore this performance was a mess like a low down dirty mess, and this song is soooo corny give it up MC and if she did perform well in her recent concerts im willing to bet they were all lipped #thatisall

As a lamb, I’m very disappointed in this…but it’s funny how when all the other amazing performances Mariah did this year were posted on blogs, Rih stans hardly had anything to say but the one terrible performance she does and now they’re writing her off.

Every singer will have bad performances. I’ve seen all the greats have bad performances but people go harder on Mariah for having bad performances cos they want her to leave the music scene to give their faves a chance of snatching her crown. It’s pathetic really.

It’s also real funny how Benron NEVER has anything good to say about Mariah yet he was quick to read this post. If you don’t like her, why do you go out of your way to read stuff about her? I don’t get it.

Anyway, I’m not gonna defend this performance. It didn’t sound good but for all the Rihanna stans getting on Mimi’s dick for this, remember Rihanna’s BEST vocal performance is still worse than this.
