Before Ne-Yo takes us on a journey back through time on his upcoming episode of ‘Behind the Music’, he has given us a glimpse of his future projects via an interview with Rap-Up TV. Namely, the singer-songwriter chatted about his own ‘R.E.D.’ project as well as Rihanna’s new album.
Ne-Yo stated on Rap-Up TV that his ‘R.E.D.’ album (due November 6th) will entail a healthy balance of both Pop and R&B that should satisfy all of his fans. Among the extensive list of acts who have helped him to create his vision for the recorded were Stargate, No I.D, Sia, Da Internz, The Underdogs, Diddy, Fabolous and Salaam Remi.
Whiling talking about his contributions to Rihanna’s new album, which is expected to hit stores by the end of 2012, Ne-Yo hinted that there are two solid songs that he wrote for her that she is keen to keep. Whether she can actually sing them remains to be determined.
