Brandy stars in her ‘Put it Down’ video.

Brandy’s ‘Put it Down’ has developed into a major Urban radio hit but she still has to deal with competition from Miguel and Keyhia Cole in the race for the top slot. So, the R&B songstress has enlisted the aid of rappers 2 Chainz and Tyga to give her song an extra boost.

On October 16th, Brandy will release her new album, ‘Two Eleven’. The songs ‘Paint this House’ and ‘No Such Things As Too Late’ are also included on the set, and she shared short previews of both tracks during her appearance on ‘The Tom Joyner Morning Show’ earlier this week.

Usually, it is exhausting when great artists work with flavour of the moment rappers but Brandy made a great choice by swapping Chris Brown’s verse for 2 Chainz on this ‘Put it Down’ remix. Tyga’s verse was garbage but we live in an imperfect world so we have to learn to deal with it.
