Pink will hit the stage at the 2012 MTV VMA later this evening but before the action gets underway, she has given her fans a special treat. Debuting on radio just moments ago was a new song from the singer entitled ‘Try’, which is reportedly the second single from her upcoming ‘The Truth About Love’ album.

‘Try’ was co-written by Busbee alongside Ben West and produced by Greg Kurstin. Will Pink perform the song at the 2012 MTV VMA? There is no word regarding that yet but listen to it below:

As usual, Pink has crafted an excellent Pop record geared toward Top 40/Mainstream radio success. Her approach with the vocals over the melody and production was subtle yet strong, and this entire ‘Try’ track is very catchy. Yes, it is a bit repetitive in the latter half but that’s exactly what Pop radio is all about in 2012.
