    New Video: Ciara – ‘Sorry’

    Ciara

Ciara finally got serious about her new ‘One Woman Army’ campaign today and released the highly anticipated new video for the record’s lead single, ‘Sorry’. However, don’t expect this to be just another low budget clip because she is dancing up a storm!

By combining the visuals of her own ‘Promise’ with Usher’s ‘Climax’, Ciara officially returns to the music scene with a bang in the ‘Sorry’ video. The song itself will be issued to iTunes on September 25th and ‘One Woman Army’ will arrive in stores on December 4th.

Watch the video for Ciara’s ‘Sorry’ below:

The only thing missing from the ‘Sorry’ video is a dance break because the quick changing scenes made it difficult to focus on Ciara’s moves. Regardless, this record is a clear hit for both Urban and Rhythmic radio, and could easily be her biggest hit in years.

Welcome back, Ciara. Now all you have to do is promote ‘Sorry’ and ensure that its followup, ‘Got Me Good’, is just as impressive. Please do not drop the ball because there is only so much disappointment that people can handle.

    • truthteller

Yes I looooove it! Finally a break from all the generic pop and rap! R&b for the win!

    • Pokemon Trainer(Sinnoh)

yessssss!!! This song WILL be a hit! well…it should be able to be crack Top 5 on Billboard’s R&B/HipHop chart

    • larry

      Greattt vid!! cici is back!

    • let the truth be known–

It’s ok but i still won’t buy her music.

    • Keyshia

Now this will be a hit and the remix needs Trey. My only concern is her performing this live. We will wait and see.

Livin’ It Up, would have been a little bit better for a lead, I mean I actually have that in my iPhone. Still like it tho Cierror :)

    • Sunshine

YES!!!! I LOVED IT! Great Job For Ciara!
It’s good to see an artist be genuine about their feelings and expressing through the video and song. Also it sounds different from a lot of stuff on the radio.

    • tae

      yes, this was nice!

    • Candy

A Beautiful record and video to match!!! Ciara’s BACK!!! So ecstatic!!!

    • olly_tei

The is very generic and stale RnB, sounds like an album track.

Her performance throughout the video is good but the video itself is just as bland as the song.

    • DOMOdotSCORE

I like both the song and the video. I think if she had the right promo, she could be back on top.

    • theman

      Great song !

    • Girrrl

Bitch that was hot. Ciara I’m sorry for doubting you.

    • http://Twitter.com/MariahChristmas Mariah Christmas

I Must admit I am Ciara fan Yet the video reminds of here song Promise Ciara did a great Job with sorry this is going to One Of the song that turn into a Major Urban R&B hit Can’t wait for the new album One Women army this December

    • Alicia

The song was so much better than I thought it was going to be. I’m so surprised! It sounds like a contemporary R&B song. The lyrics are a bit basic but moon/june is all it takes sometimes. I’m sure it will get either the same or slightly airplay as Fantasia’s “Truth Is.” It seems to be on that level. So a minor hit, which is exactly what she needs. I do also want to say that her vocal on this was nice. I like the strained, raspy rhythmic bit before the chorus kicks in. It’s good.

I don’t really care for the video. I can’t stand choppy editing. Tell the damn story.

    • NKE

      i love it

    • WonderLand19

Yeah!!! She’s back! Love it CiCi! I’m now excited for this album.

    • anthony

      #WelcomeBackCiara !!! “And Don’t F*&k it UP” *ru voice*

    • theman

Some of y’all just want something to complain about. This is clearly one of the stellar r&b records out there now. She did a superb job with this song.

    • https://twitter.com/OneStanArmy JoS

Teh Queen did an AMAZING job. I loved it.

But, it’s a crying shame the first ones to comment on this post were hating ass apes.

I mean, but, I guess they’re kinda STANS too.

      -sis pat smh-

    • KingPhoenix

I love it, the song and the video is simply AMAZING.!!!!!!!

Overdose and Sweat sounded better. This is ok. I would probably skip it on the album. You’re right, a dance break would have been good; rather than just a set of visuals with the track playing over it. May be a slow grower and chart-gainer.

    • Ci’Yonce

YESSSSSSSSS CI!!!!!!!!!! #C-SQUAD =) Queen DID that!

I quite like it however I would have preferred Livin’ It Up as the lead single. I am hooked on that song.

    • Kim

I love it! I was feeling this song. The video is hot also.

I agree with most when they say “Livin it Up” should have been a single! That song is crazy good. BUT I’m a big fan of this too!!! My girl is back! Dawn, Ciara, Missy Elliot and Brandy are going to deflate my wallet!

    • Music-Doc

It’s good to see Ciara back to full form. I really like this song and video. After all, this song is so much better than those other songs (“Overdose” and “Sweat” were pure garbage). I hope she wins this time around, but she has to work hard for it.

    • Rudie

The video moves to quickly for an RnB song. But i love the song. This will definitely be a win for radio and music in general.
