Alicia Keys admitted to The New York Times that the song ‘Girl on Fire’ was a bit beyond her ability to sing but that didn’t mean that she had decided omit the record from future shows. In fact, during her latest television appearance on Norwegian-Swedish talk show ‘Skavlan’, she gave the tune one more try.

Luckily for everyone involved, Keys toned down the arrangement of ‘Girl on Fire’ and actually delivered an impressive rendition on ‘Skavlan’. Do you see what happens when artists think before they sing? So many vocal cords and ears are saved from despair.
