This release week of ‘Two Eleven’ album is finally upon us and Brandy is busy doing the legwork to ensure that record makes a splash. For her first promotional appearance, the diva visited ‘The Breakfast Club’ to talk about her new music and her journey back to the top of the charts.
Speaking to the ever controversial Charlamagne, Brandy revealed that she once thought that her career was over and that the success of ‘Put it Down (Ft. Chris Brown)’ is truly a blessing. The song has thus far peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, although the recent Billboard rule changes have knocked it down to #16.
Additionally, Brandy admitted why she decided not to launch her summer tour alongside her ‘It All Belongs to Me’ duet partner, Monica, suggesting that their schedules simply clashed. Watch Brandy discuss those topics and more on ‘The Breakfast Club’ below:
