Did you know that actor Eddie Murphy was also a recording artist during the 1980s and early 1990s?
In addition to his career as a blockbuster film star, Murphy released several albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s with minor success on the Billboard charts. His highest-charting LP was 1985′s ‘How Could it Be’, which peaked at #26 on the Billboard 200.
Murphy’s lone top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 was the Rick James-produced ‘Party All the Time’, which climbed to #2 on the lineup in 1985 and was ranked as the #7 most successful hit at the end of 1986 Watch the video for ‘Party All the Time’ below:
