Ne-Yo performs ‘Let Me Love You’ for ‘X-Factor (UK)’

Tonight marked the first live shows of ‘The X-Factor (UK)’, and in addition Leona Lewis performing her stunning new single, ‘Trouble’, Ne-Yo was there for the festivities. However, when the latter hit the stage to sing ‘Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)’, he sounded rather rough.

‘Let Me Love You’ debuted at #1 on the UK Official Singles chart when it released within the territory in July. The record has been lifted off Ne-Yo’s upcoming album, ‘R.E.D.’, which will be released on November 6th. He revealed the album cover and track list of the set earlier this week.

Perhaps it would have been  smart move for Ne-Yo to perform ‘Let Me Love You’ in an octave lower than the studio version. Still, regardless of the husky rendition, Ne-Yo still managed to deliver a strong performance with his moves. This wasn’t his best work but the effort was there.
