Adele’s new song, ‘Skyfall’, was scheduled to premiere at 7:07pm ET this evening but this is 2012 and the power of the internet can’t be denied. So, the track has unsurprisingly surfaced ahead of time, and it just as dark, passionate and gritty as her fans hoped it would be for the ‘James Bond 007: Skyfall’ soundtrack.
‘Skyfall’ was co-written and produced by Paul Epworth. The tune will be issued to iTunes around the world tonight, just as the song officially impacts radio. Meanwhile, the latest ‘James Bond’ film won’t hit cinemas until October 26th in the UK.
Listen to Adele’s ‘Skyfall’ below:
The reason Adele has been such a massive success around the globe is that he music is both masterful yet relatable. ‘Skyfall’ is beautifully written and Adele’s voice evokes the kind of emotion that several singers couldn’t achieve even if they screamed a dozen vocal runs in quick succession. Certainly, this song will be remembered as one of the great ‘James Bond 007′ themes of our time.
