Today is the big day for the return of Bruno Mars! The singer-songwriter released his new song, ‘Locked Out of Heaven’, from his highly anticipated ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ sophomore album, much to the the delight of his excited fans.
‘Locked Out of Heaven’ will be released on December 11th. Refusing to be boxed in to any particular genre, Mars collaborated with a range of producers and songwriters while crafting the record, such as Mark Ronson, Jeff Bhasker, Emile Haynie, Diplo and Supa Dups.
That’s enough chatter from me. Listen to ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ below:
I don’t know how Mars manages to do it with every song but he has crafted yet another brilliant single with ‘Locked Out of Heaven’. The hook is catchy, the beat is the perfect tempo for radio and the repetitive vocal loop in the background of the track is positively infectious.
Additionally, Mars’ vocal performance on ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ is fantastic. There is really is nothing left to say about this song so excuse me while I bop around my kitchen for the next ten minutes.
