Christina Aguilera isn’t the only Mariah Carey superfan on the panel of ‘The Voice’. Cee Lo Green is also a follower of the head diva’s work and he has made his own contribution to her legacy as the Queen of Christmas by rearranging her classic tune ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You‘ into a new song.

On October 26h, Green and Aguilera released their latest duet, ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside’, and the latter sounded strikingly similar to Carey. Did Green do the same on ‘All I Want for Christmas’? Listen to it below and find out:

Green understandably lowered the key on ‘All I Want for Christmas’ but it’s a shame that he also slowed the tempo because the song lost some of its cheerful luster. Also, his vocals are a bit rough and the tune almost sounds as though it hasn’t been mixed properly. So, the crown for the best cover of ‘All I Want for Christmas’ is still owned by Michael Buble.
