It’s been awhile since we’ve heard from Marcus Canty but not now he’s back with a new song! Earlier today, the budding R&B star released the sensual ‘Used by You’, which has been taken from his first EP, ‘This Is… Marcus Canty’.

Eight tracks are featured on the ‘This Is…Marcus Canty’ EP, including his the lead single, ‘In & Out’, which comprises contributions by rapper Wale. However, fans of Canty will have to wait until October 30th to hear the full record. In the meantime, you can listen to ‘Used By You’ below:

The production of ‘Used by You’ is very addictive and has the potential to be an urban radio hit. However, it seems that the record is lacking something. Maybe Canty, who sounds shockingly similar to Mario, should’ve requested a feature from a rapper like J. Cole or Ludacris to create more of an impact. Regardless of that minor flaw, ‘Used by You’ is still a good effort.
