Bruno Mars parties in his new ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ video.

Well, that didn’t take very long! Exactly two weeks after the release of his new song, ‘Locked Out of Heaven’, Bruno Mars has premiered the song’s accompanying video. The tune is the official lead single from the singer’s new album, ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.

Other songs expected to appear on ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’ include ‘Young Girls’, ‘Gorilla’ and ‘When I Was Your Man’. Co-written entirely by Mars himself, the LP will hit stores on December 11th. Watch the video for ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ below:

This definitely isn’t the video treatment that I imagined when I first heard ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ but it still somehow works. The raw performances scenes and the distorted camera shots are very reminiscent of the visuals put forward by Reggae artists, and judging by the music, they also influenced the song. So, this video does its job.
