Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ album cover

Times must be hard in the trap because Nicki Minaj had trouble affording a proper graphics designer to craft her ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up’ album cover. If you look closely at the image used for the ‘artwork’, you will notice that it was actually created from a screenshot of her ‘I Am Your Leader’ video.

‘The Re-Up’ is earmarked to hit stores in the US on November 19th and will include six new songs. The lead single from the set, ‘The Boys (Ft. Cassie)’, has thus far peaked at #102 on the Billboard Hot 100 (#2 on the Bubbling Under chart).   Whether you are a huge Nicki fan, or you can’t stand her, or you fall somewhere in the middle, you have to admit that recycling the name “Pink Friday” in every release is getting really ridiculous. First “Pink Friday”, then “Pink Friday- Roman Reloaded”, then “Pink Friday- Roman Reloaded (DELUXE), and now “Pink Friday- Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up”.. and that will probably has a deluxe version also. Isn’t Nicki Minaj or anyone at her record label creative enough to come up with a totally new idea for an album title?

  The cover looks like someone created it on their home computer and then tried printing it but had it on the wrong setting or was running out of colored ink. It’s like those cheesy homemade album covers that you find on bootleg CD’s that play terribly and are sold on the streets of Manhattan.
