Nicole Scherzinger has long been demonised for hogging the spotlight during her stint as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls. Well, now we’re about to find out exactly why that was case, thanks her appearance on Vh1′s ‘Behind the Music’, in which she claimed did all the work.
Using the ‘PCD’ album as a prime example, Scherzinger averred that she recorded 95% of the work as a member of the Pussycat Dolls by recording all the main and background vocals on their songs. In fact, she stated that other girls did not hear the album until it was already unfinished.
Of course, Scherzinger’s comments are completely opposite to the points previously raised by her former bandmates who claimed that she demanded to be the lead on every song and in every performance. Watch the preview of her ‘Behind the Music’ special, which airs tonight at 9pm ET, below:
