J. Cole must really enjoy cold weather. As what appears to be one of the chilliest winter gears up, the Roc Nation rapper has announced plans to issue his new album during the thick of the season. In fact, he has already revealed the record’s title and release date.
‘Born Sinner’ serves as the followup to Cole’s ‘Cole World: The Sideline Story’ debut set and it will arrive in stores on January 28th 2013. Why is that release date so significant? It is also Cole’s 28th birthday.
Since being issued on September 27th, ‘Cole World’ has sold over 660K copies in the US. The record was bolstered by the surprise platinum-certified top 20 single, ‘Work Out’, which peaked at #13 on the Billboard Hot 100, after a relatively slow start on the chart.
