Janet, La Toya and Michael Jackson

Did you know that Janet Jackson previously performed background vocals for Michael Jackson?

Janet sang background on her brother Michael’s ‘Thriller’ album on the song ‘P.Y.T.’ in 1982. However, she wasn’t the only famous sibling who contributed to the song. Their elder sister, La Toya Jackson, also contributed to the vocal harmonies on the track.

Both Janet and La Toya have since launched their own successful careers. The former rivalled Michael as one of the most prolific artists of the the 1980s and 1990s whereas La Toya is famous for her reality television ventures.
