If you have a problem with Ne-Yo’s new ‘R.E.D.’ album then keep your complaints and your money to yourself because he doesn’t care. Earlier this morning, the singer made a guest appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ where he defended his music and disregarded any negative feedback.
Entailing primarily generic Pop songs and cheapened R&B, ‘R.E.D.’ easily ranks as Ne-Yo’s weakest album to date, and many of his longtime fans have lashed out at him for crafting such a shabby record. However, he remains unbothered by their claims and steadfast in his belief that the album is a solid body of work.
Meanwhile, ‘R.E.D.’ is projected to generate the lowest first week sales of Ne-Yo’s career with only 50K-55K copies sold in the US during the next week. Watch his ‘Breakfast Club’ interview below:
