Alicia Keys and Maxwell

Of all the tracks included on Alicia Keys’ upcoming ‘Girl on Fire’ album, the most anticipated new song is her duet with Maxwell. ‘Fire We Make’ was produced by Keys in collaboration with Pop & Oak, and stands as the standout vocal performance of the LP.

Although Keys sounded surprisingly better than she has during the last few months, ‘Fire We Make’ is all about Maxwell and that voice! His runs, riffs, tone, phrasing and passionate singing definitely stole the show, and he made Keys sound like a complete novice. I am just blown away by his greatness!
