Rihanna Impresses With Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show Performance

The 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show won’t air until December 4th but footage from the event has already surfaced. In addition to Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars, Rihanna hit the runway to perform a rendition of ‘Diamonds’ and she actually sounded good!

‘Diamonds’ is steadily climbing the Billboard Hot 100 and is currently perched at #4 on the lineup. Rihanna will also perform the song, which is the lead single from her ‘Unapologetic’ album, on ‘Saturday Night Live’ on November 10th.

By Rihanna’s standards, this performance of ‘Diamonds’ was actually good. She sang completely live, matched the record note for note, kept the nasal singing to a minimum and even appeared be feeling the lyrics.

It looks like all those hours on Skype with her vocal coach are finally paying off. Either that or Rihanna put down the blunts long enough for her vocal cords to catch a break. She better shine bright like a bottle of honey and lime.
