Just when you thought that the year would quietly end, the nominations for our annual ceremony have been announced and you have the chance to vote the winners!

Focusing on albums, songs and events that occurred during the December 12th 2011-December 11th 2012 period, The Lava Lizard Awards gives you the opportunity to crown the best and worst of the last year! Furthermore, you also have the chance to use your power as loyal readers to name the Best New Artist from among those acts who issued their debut studio albums after November 1st 2011.

Finally, the newly introduced Eternal Flame Award will recognise the achievements of an artist who has left a lasting mark on the entertainment industry and inspired generations of performers. This year’s honoree will be announced when all the winners are revealed on Christmas Eve (December 24th)!
