Bruno Mars performs on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’.

The tributes to the victims of the Newtown shootings keep pouring in. The latest celebrity to add his voice to the mix was Bruno Mars, who opened today’s episode of ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ with a live performance of his upbeat anthem ‘Count on Me’.

Just last evening, the coaches of ‘The Voice’ – Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine – performed  ‘Hallelujah’ to the 26 people slaughtered in Newtown. However, true to the theme of ‘Ellen’, Mars spread a happier tone as he aimed to lift his fans’ spirits. Watch him in action below:
