Luke James and Faith Evans

NBC’s ‘Real Music Live’ kicked off last evening with performances by two generations of R&B greatness. Both newcomer Luke James and veteran Faith Evans were on hand to deliver renditions of their latest singles, and introduce themselves to the audience of the new show.

First up to bat was James, who performed ‘Just Might Die’ and wowed the crowd with his incredible vocal range. Next, Evans chatted about the importance of a live performance and her new ‘R&B Divas’ album before belting a powerful rendition of the record’s lead single, ‘Tears of Joy’.
