As a result of all of his promotional efforts, you may think that Luke James’ ‘Whispers in the Dark’ EP was a full studio album. Yet, the songs on the record will only serve as interludes on his debut LP in early 2013 and he explained that clearly on BET’s ’106 & Park’.
After briefly chatting about ‘Whispers in the Dark’, James expressed gratitude for his 2013 Grammy Award nomination for Best R&B Performance (‘I Want You’) and discussed what it was like to work with Beyonce early in his career. Furthermore, he stressed the importance of the Music Matters campaign and how it helped him to become the artist that he is today.
